Making a commemorative video
within a pedagogical framework

A horizontal project, Europe 2014-2018 was conceived in order to enable young people to express themselves on fighting, on instability, on the idea of the search for balance.

Young people commemorating the hundred years of the first World War is a special moment : union of the past and the future in the present. In choosing to honour the memory of a war veteran by editing a video, the participants, guided and at the same time free, find themselves in turn behind and in front of the « camera ». They can express their creativity through :

• the decor
• the costumes
• the framing
• the acting and directing
• the archives
• the recording
• the editing
